# ToDecimal

Converts value to decimal type

```mathematica
ToDecimal("22.34") → 22.34
ToDecimal("22,34", DecimalSeparator.COMMA) -> 22.34
```

#### Inputs

`ToDecimal(value, [decimalSeparator], [replaceInvalidWith])`

* `value` - A value to convert into decimal
* `[decimalSeparator]` - **\[optional**: period by default\*\*] -\*\* Enum ‘DecimalSeparator’ with the corresponding decimal separator of the value
* `[replaceInvalidWith]` - **\[optional**: null by default\*\*]\*\* - invalid values will be replaced with this parameter

#### Description

We support comma and period decimal separators (period by default). You can use the second parameter to switch to a comma: DecimalSeparator.COMMA.
