# ToInteger

Converts value to the integer type

```mathematica
ToInteger("180.0") → 180
ToInteger("180,7", DecimalSeparator.COMMA) -> 180
```

#### Inputs

`ToInteger(value, [decimalSeparator], [replaceInvalidWith])`

* `value` - A value to convert into an integer
* `[decimalSeparator]` - **\[optional**: period by default\*\*] -\*\* Enum ‘DecimalSeparator’ with the corresponding decimal separator of the value
* `[replaceInvalidWith]` - **\[optional**: null by default\*\*]\*\* - invalid values will be replaced with this parameter

#### Description

We support comma and period decimal separators (period by default). You can use the second parameter to switch to a comma: DecimalSeparator.COMMA.

If an original value contains a decimal part it’s truncated.
